Character Information

Personal:

Michael is a member of an organization called Starfleet, which functions as a space military and also engages in exploration and scientific endeavors. By the time she has come to Piper90, she has reached the rank of Commander in this organization.
Michael was orphaned at the age of ten and rescued by Sarek, a Vulcan ambassador who was married to a human and raised a half-Vulcan, half-human son named Spock with her. The addition of Michael was a disruption to the family, and she felt much guilt over this for many years.
After attending the Vulcan Science Academy, studying quantum physics, Michael is accepted into Starfleet, rising in the ranks as a xenoanthropologist despite never attending Starfleet Academy.

Canon:

Michael has disappeared from her home universe, expecting to land in the same position but 930 years into the future. Michael is something of a secret, having been erased from Starfleet records.
Michael's canon tends to deal with deep issues such as self identity, war, sacrifice, and loyalty. Starfleet is an organization that stands for integrity, but will sometimes lose its way and make bad decisions that don't fit under this banner.

Physical:

Michael is of medium build and reasonably muscular. She keeps in good shape by working out and sparring with members of her team.

Michael speaks with a standard American accent. This video contains a good sample of her typical speaking voice.

Abilities & Equipment:

Michael is a skilled marksman and adept at hand-to-hand fighting. Having been trained in both Vulcan fighting styles and human, she is best defeated when caught by surprise.
Michael arrived with a suit that in her universe is capable of space and time travel. In game it has been nerfed to grant her only certain powers.
Michael has been granted powers in game:

○ Extra boosts of both with her Red Angel Suit

Permissions

Warnings: Michael was orphaned at a young age by attacking Klingons. This causes her later decisions that alienate the Klingons and lead to the war between mankind and Klingons.

Backtagging: I prefer to play out what I can of a thread in a fairly timely manner. If it's looking like what is happening between our characters is going to have a major impact on their CR longterm, I'll keep backtagging for some months, but for the most part if it's beyond the current plot and it's not going much of anywhere I'm liable to lose interest.
Threadhopping: I'm all for this in network posts as long as things are open (i.e. there's no indication the transmission is private). For logs, I'd like to be advised you're going to do this, but will most likely be open to it.
Fourthwalling: No, thank you.
Off limits: Noncon/rape.
Warn first: I don't really have any triggers, though I am uncomfortable with elaborate descriptions of gore and such. Putting a cw in the subject line for anything upsetting should cover me.

Physical affection: Michael may take some time to warm up to your character before she will respond well to a greeting hug.
Physical violence: Michael is skilled in hand-to-hand and shooting, so your character may find her a formidable opponent. Check with me before initiating anything.
Romance: Michael has recently had to let go of a romantic partnership and may be open to new connections.
Use of telepathy/mind reading: Michael has had the Vulcan mind meld performed on her and will recognize it if someone enters her mind. She knows how to put up a fight in this manner.
